My mom was a commercial photographer, and as a kid I often did my homework in her studio surrounded by large format cameras, strobes and tripods.

I learned early on how photography could change the way I experienced the world. These days I mostly shoot on vacation, opting for far more pre-dawn wake-up calls than I should.
